fjällräven re-kånken | classic backpack

War on waste warriors unite - this special edition kånken is made entirely from polyester recycled from plastic bottles, that's right plastic bottles!

This latest edition to the kånken family combines everyday functionality with the same genius design as the original but now reinvented from a recycling/recyclable perspective that saves natural resources.

The original kånken was launched in 1978 in collaboration with the Swedish Guide and Scout Association. More than 35 years later, kånken has straightened out millions of backs and become one of fjällräven's most popular products. All that has changed over the years are the colours and with the re-kånken the unique fabric cementing the kånken as the classic backpack.

Easy to pack with a long zippered opening and with a comfy seat pad stored in the pocket against the back.

Standout features of the re-kånken include:

  • waterproof special edition fabric made from solution-dyed, recycled polyester
  • reinforced grab handles
  • smooth durable outer
  • adjustable shoulder straps
  • concealed zip fastening
  • name & address label on inside of pack
  • external zip and slip pockets
  • interior slip pocket
  • H:38cm W:27cm D:13cm
  • capacity - 16L

Dyed with SpinDye technology that radically reduces the amount of water, energy and chemicals used the re-kånken effortlessly marries style and environmental responsibility.
